project summary
The Salisbury to Kuraby third track upgrade was one of the first major upgrades made to the Beenleigh line as part of Queensland Rail’s commitment to providing more passenger services as well as meeting its obligations to provide equitable access for people with disabilities.
Seven stations were upgraded as part of the $256 million dollar project.
Whilst not directly responsible for the concept design of the project, the skills learned managing a large, complex project team along with the highly technical nature of the project have been further developed and applied to all projects designed by RBDS.
